all philosophers are shit. its too abstract a subject so they just make huge generalisations.

i guess the best ones are the ones who make you think or see things from a different perspective. it shouldnt be about who's found the most correct truth (whatever that means).

aristotle and plato made people reevaluate their perspectives on the world but a lot of what they said is laughable today.

Epictetus was not one for the abstract stuff. He is one philosopher that had down to earth stuff to say - some very practical common sense stuff.
