I would want RZA to focus on Deck, U God and Masta Killa after the 1st round of solos. If I remember well after Forever he said that he wanted to manage the careers of Meth, Ghost and ODB and let other dudes like Supreme manage careers of other mcs. He really didn't focus on GZA, Raekwon or U God in 1999.

Exactly. Sadly now the majority..like over 75 percent of wutang music is shitty due to post golden age refusal to invest in real estate. Ugods first album was ass but considering that it's been 12 years since we've heard a wutang member on a beat with more than 2 tracks, it's a phenomenal album

I bumped that album like crazy when it first came out.

I haven't listened to it in years though.

I need to revisit that LP ASAP...

it's pretty good, far from a classic album... this is the type of album that disapointed Wu fans back when it dropped because it lacked the cohesiveness of the other members debuts.. it definitely has bangers on there though, "Turbulence", "Dat's Gangsta", "Rumble", "Turbo Charge", "Bizarre"... it lacks focus though and sometime U-God has a hard time following through on his song themes.

i rate it around 3/5, 3.5/5 which is not at all a bad rating

    Agreed.

Average at best. Id give it a 2 though. Had some good tracks like you mentioned but soome horrible beats and just flat out bad tracks.

Dopium and the other recent one were far better.

Yup this is one of my fave Wu albums. The whole sound to it is classic.
