He is been making plays every single time he has the ball. Kick Return, Punt Return, Running Back. He has even made an impact on defense.

His stuff in 2009 is amongst the greatest ever. He single handedly carried a shit to the grand final as the lowest ranked playoff team and it took a team cheating the salary cap to stop them. My cousin is mates with him and Jarryd pulled some Joliet Jake shit by eating 3 whole BBQ chickens after a game hahaha
I don't see anyone else making it. RTS maybe but he's a bit small. I'm fucking devastated he's leaving us he'll be 100x better than Hayne ever was he's probably just too small for NFL. he'll end up playing for the All Blacks

The 49ers signed Hayne to a three-year deal, which is the maximum allowed for an undrafted rookie. Although he is older than most rookies, he still qualified as a UDFA. Hayne received an $8,000 signing bonus, and an additional $100,000 in guaranteed money. He is now due to earn $435,000 as a rookie.
Hayne has been great. Cant wait until he plays in the regular season.
Good on him. I read that every 49ers game will be televised here haha the bandwagon is on hard. I'll watch them. San Francisco just got a lot of new fans

The Jarryd Hayne era is over in San Francisco.
Hayne, the Australian rugby league star who made a splash in the preseason and surprised a lot of people by making the 49ers’ 53-man roster, has been released.
The 49ers announced the move today. They cut Hayne in favor of running back Kendall Gaskins, who has been promoted from the practice squad to the active roster.
Although Hayne showed some promise as a running back and kick returner, he never looked completely comfortable and struggled with fielding punts. He has the athletic talent to play in the NFL, but he had a steep learning curve and ultimately couldn’t get up to speed fast enough.
Hayne will now be placed on waivers, and it wouldn’t be surprising if some other team decides to pick him up and give him a shot. If he clears waivers, it also wouldn’t be surprising to see the 49ers add him to their practice squad. Hayne might have a future in the NFL, even if he’s not ready yet.
