Default Deck's verse on Sparring Minds...

has to be his greatest so far. I'm probably missing one, but for me this is INS at his finest.

    "Insane flower, vein blower
    Aim and it's game over
    You know the name, flame-thrower
Got the code to the game and I hold the main controller
Soldiers from the jump, and today the same soldier
I stay low, play close to bank rolls
Polly with the greatest who walk the same road
Oh you ain't hear? Ain't nuttin' new but the gear
The crew of the year, kid too much to bear
Find out what I'm about, know the legend
The slight disrespect of his name provoke tension
No threat, bringin' the force like Boba Fett
The old vet whose presence alone control the set
I'm next level, ya best settle, bless Rebel
I shine like a bezel, with strength to bend metal
"Plunge head first in the grunge, become emerged the drums
    The verse is murder one"
"The devil trembles when he knows the body is the temple and God is in you
It's hard to continue when it's hard to offend you
He snarls and sets traps, that have you setback
The last round in this death match
So strengthen where you're best at
I promise you won't regret that" - Killah Priest

That is a dope verse. Many will cite Deck's Triumph verse, but I also love his verse on Black Mozart.

"C.R.E.A.M." might be his best though, not his most complicated from a technical standpoint but everything about that verse and the way he delivered it is so on point. definitely one of those truly legendary verses in hip hop

    BIG COSIGN!

Deck is my personal fav mc of all time! His verse on C.R.E.A.M. is my fav and most impactful poem/song/lyric/piece of art EVER. I remember being 12 or 13 and rewinding his verse over and over again so that I could write it down and know everyword. Yes he has come more technically complex since then but @ the time that was the most advanced rhyme construction I'd heard. Also, first time social commentary in a song really touched me in a meaningful and mind opening way.

Salute and big THANKS to the Unsung Hero!

His verses on "Triumph" or "Above the Cloud" are fucking great to me

His verse on "The City" seems underrated as well. He drops there some real shit

"I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth" (Rev. 3:15-16)

I dislike his style on most slow beats like that, except for CREAM

I was infatuated with his style when I was 16 and I learned to flow from him, but nowadays this verse is nothing special to me, basically the 3 last lines in the verse are the only ones where he shows what he is able to do, everything else is pretty standard INS-just-flow verse

this is a lot better IMO

    bring back begongo!!
