[QUOTE=madchild;2527717]Does anyone really listen to M.O.P?
Is that a trick question?
Probably the greatest Duo in Hip Hop period.
Snowgoons need to do more beats like this
Id take a full album of beats like that any day. The big bombastic AOTP sound gets really fucking boring
I don't like beats that plod along so I stopped checking for Snowgoons a while back. that Sparta album was okay but it didn't hold much replay value for me. I don't tend to revisit full MOP projects often anyway
I will def check this out though, wanna see how the MCs combine

I would take Mobb Deep, Heltah Skeltah or Clipse over M.O.P as far as actual rap tag teams. N I am in for this album, but who actually donates to these kickstarters? Peace
hell yeah, M.O.P. is one of the dopest groups around, people who aren't really immersed in their stuff think that they only do the "Ante Up" type of records (which of course is a classic track), but if you dig into their catalouge they have a way of expressing thoughts and raw emotion - for example, listen to Lil' Fame's verse on "Sufferin'" (at about 2:15)
that shit is heartfelt as fuck, and their albums are full of stuff like that.. they are incredible in performance too and show A LOT of love for their fans. i mostly dig their older stuff though, "Foundation" album was pretty tight but since then nothing they have dropped has really grabbed me. the Snowgoons album had zero replay value for me, same as anything else Snowgoons produces imo - i'm not hyped for this, sorry...
i'd rather go revisit "Firing Squad"
daily updates: news, articles, reviews, the best compilations on the net. that true skool street hop!
r.i.p. Johan D, Kaddu, Ricke a.k.a. "Slick Rick" and the rest of the fallen soldiers - you'll never be forgotten!
Hom Hom, nice picture of Onyx and M.O.P. album cover. Madchild, that's a dumb question about M.O.P. hahahahahahahahaha. Of course people listen to M.O.P. and I love them. I'm gonna have to lookout for their collabo album with Onyx and I hope the beats are hard.
