I think we all grew up on Judd Hirsch in one way or another lol. he's been around since the dinosaurs

always liked his acting. he walks the fine line between cheesy and engaging

wasn't too big on Independence Day but it was entertaining nonetheless

Yeah the first was entertaining but full of plot holes and other stupid shit. Not sure why Vivica A Fox (who looks fucking atrocious now) is in it if Will Smith isn't cos she was just his wife in the first, she didn't have an important role.

Yeah Judd Hirsch was good in taxi, although he looks like one of the trolls from Labyrinth.

Entertaining enough movie. I didn't give a shit about the new characters but Goldblum and Hirsch were great, as was the scientist guy. I'm going to admit the idea of a unified earth got to me a bit, just like it did when I was a kid. The world uniting against evil is a powerful idea, especially when you see so many awful headlines.

If the third gets made as planned it promises to be the most interesting episode of the series.
