I haven't been updating The Lost Tapes almost for a month for several reasons but i finally put together a new compilation for y'all to bang your heads to. i was listening to Blaq Poet's Year Round Records album "Tha Blaqprint" for the first time in quite a while and was reminded of how fucking dope DJ Premier and Poet sounded together. shortly after the release of the LP Poet left YRR (which was probably a smart move on his part considering how NYGz have been handled - what a shame that is!) and since then there haven't been any more collaborations between this powerful boom bap duo released. Prior to that there were several dope cuts (remixes, B-sides, guest features) between the two, dating back to "Seen It All" and "F.A.Y.B.A.N." on the classic Screwball debut (1999).

So... this compilation is basically every single Blaq Poet track or apperance on a beat produced by DJ Premier, aside from the 13 "Blaqprint" joitns of course. it came together real nice, nothing but pure hardcore hip-hop so be sure to check it out over @ The Lost Tapes.
