^ exactly... hip-hop in 2016 defines one of the worst musical eras of all time, any genre

which is not to say that there's not still hot shit being made and dope artist striving to create, but the majority of the artists and tracks that are blowing up right now is so lacking in creativity and quality that i think it's a reasonable debate to discuss if this should even still be labeled as music.
