Its pretty clear that he emptied his bag of tricks a long time ago. Its still a well composed and written project but theres nothing here that doesn't sound like a retread of his older albums.
I prefer it to his previous album though. Hes better at doing moody pop than straight ahead rap.

after i saw the artwork i kinda suppressed my hype. glad i did too.
this is pretty much old/take care drake but a better version of him.
im on a full second listen but due to being busy ive played the first couple tracks a few more times than the others.
this is pop drake, album flows though. we were blessed for IYRTITL. two classics in a row is a tough task. i will give the man a break.
also i heard gucci did drop an album... not sure if that is true or not
