I used to think MMLP, but I've shifted to SSLP. I think SSLP is more listenable and the beats were very non intrusive which allowed him to be freer with his lyrics. MMLP is also angrier, while SSLP is funnier.

Yeah I agree, I think that humour holds up more than aggressive stuff. MMLP was good too but I always preferred his Slim Shady persona. It's either of these albums for what is the best, I don't really like what came out after MMLP besides his work of Devil's Night

Quoting ≠ Agreement.
The thing about SSLP being a funnier album is very True, its pretty damn hilarious at times. EM sounds more relaxed than on any of the later lps
Still as a complete package i stick with MMLP, i think the production and overall presentation gives it The edge.
daily updates: news, articles, reviews, the best compilations on the net. that true skool street hop!
r.i.p. Johan D, Kaddu, Ricke a.k.a. "Slick Rick" and the rest of the fallen soldiers - you'll never be forgotten!
Relapse for me, even though most people have an extraordinarily strong abhorrence to it.
Slim Shady, brain dead like Jim Brady, I'm a M80, you little like that Kim lady.
Too many joints on that record. Always wished he'd have given us one more like that.

MMLP and Eminem Show are his two best IMO.
MMLP > SSLP > Eminem Show
Would probably stick Devil's Night in between SSLP and Eminem Show. The rest of his albums aren't really worth mentioning for me.

Suck this drunk alcohol dick.
Very true. I honestly did not even notice the accents that everybody was complaining about. Lyricwise, this is Eminem at his peak. Unfortunately, Proof's departure is what drove Eminem's lyrics to this apex. He was going off on that Psychopath Killer joint from Shady XV also.
