Damn I miss the days of commercial record stores..
Damn I miss the days of commercial record stores..
lol that was good.
N.I.
I love this album.
As for myself: I had come to the conclusion that there was nothing sacred about myself or any human being, that we were all machines, doomed to collide and collide and collide.
- Kurt Vonnegut
You ain't the only one. There was definitely something ill about being around other music fans, browsing for music, taking too much time at the listening booths. I used to meet people too, talk about albums & whatnot. Now it all feels mad singular.
I just listened to this album again last week, forgot how good it was.
Man, I bought that CD at Music World (Canadian music chain) along with Forever, Cuban Linx, Ironman, Liquid Swords.
RIP that shit
better times...

There a lot of record stores here in Calgary. Some really fuckin dope ones as well, couldnt get over the amount of good ones when I moved here
Incredible album, from a sonic standpoint way ahead of its time.
This.
Also, I miss the days where you wouldn't get leaks maybe just a lil ad in the source or something or even better just rollin into ya local music store and finding a new wu release that you had no idea about. I remember that happened to me with Heavy Mental. Good memories.
Anyone remember the Ironman commercial with the alternate Box In Hand beat? I was disappointed when that wasn't on the final album..
I know. My favorite comic book, music and video game stores are all a thing of the past. I miss the camaraderie of building with strangers about the latest classic and recent releases. I was dope to peruse the racks and find something you had absolutely no clue was out. That was how I got View From Masada and C True Hollywood Stories.
