One step from the edge on a ledge called life
one step and be dead but I pledge more life
a forced dive, into the darkest
depths of the soul of a mouldy carcass
artistically strained but bliss still remains
no hits, just miss, my wrists feel the pain
each vein breached, stained and caused puddles
to keep sane I sleep chained with jaw muzzled
puzzled, by the thoughts in my head
fought till I bled, probably ought to be dead
no more than a thread, holding me together
my shawl's been shed, now I'm cold in any weather
better days are only in my past
please let me play cos it's lonely in my mask
show me to my casket, no eggs in this basket
please be my legs, I won't beg but I'll ask it
you bastard, you mastered living well
fast to judge, but I never asked to live in hell
tell me your secrets, I'll tell you my regrets
while you're cashing each cheque, I'm trapped in deep debt
keep getting closer to the edge
hopelessly beg for a dose or two of meds
through the thread that holds my life together
a knife cuts and my life flutters like a feather

One step from the edge on a ledge called death
one step, resurrect, as I beg for breath
the effort exerted, the stress and the hurt it-
left me to question myself, is it worth it?
it's perfect, the tranquility of death
it's worthless, and still it beats what's left
left of the restless, mortal existence
I left as I entered the portal, the kingdom
I bring glum news to those who are teetering
close to the edge, cos your death won't achieve a thing
won't even bring a complete resolution
like staying inside so you'll breathe less pollution
be best to loosen up and live your life
and let peace be and function with the strife
punctured with a knife is the vision you percieved
at this junction in your life make the decision to believe
once you've risen you'll achieve more than you ever dreamed
won't even need to devise a clever scheme
never be the one who took that step
worse yet the one hung by the hook that kept -
him close to the edge, never over the ledge
dangling with dread hanging over his head
no hope as he bled, he could feel fear, it stalled him
the rope turned to thread, you can still hear him falling.

Felt this whole thing is done imo smooth read good imagery vocab was there.
