Why is More Fish better than Fishscale

It's not just me either, the songs have more plays on youtube than fishscale ones and it's not like it was rigged by a massive commercial marketing push. and just this is like the 5th ghost thread in 2 days but it's not like Inspectah Deck or Method man are putting in work.



This is one of my favorite all time ghost tracks.

If more fish was left overs from Fishscale whoever AR'd that album should have lost their job. Fishscale literally has 2 skits back to back, neither contribute to the listening experience..so why not put some of these tracks in instead? Maybe Ghost was trying to get out of his def jam contract quickly

I remember reading a ghost interview back after fishcale and no fish came out..Ghost was gonna make FishScale a double album..and Jay Z came in Like "no trust me..break it into 2 albums....we gonna hit em twice and spread it out" unfortunately ghost listened..

Fishscale is dooe,but it doesnt feel complete without some of those more fish joints

yeah Jay-z has never made a good business or creative decision outside of marrying beyonce and getting his marketing team to tell everyone he makes good business decisions. The guy really believed Memphis Bleek was going to be the future. Over Kanye. and didn't want to sign Rhianna. Then signed Rita Ora.

I also think it was part hate, but rappers are like kids (except jay-z) and that's why he's running laps around their heads. All of 'the greats' have a double disc and Jay-z wanted Kingdom Come to be a double disc as well, so a part of me says he struck it down for his own benefit then went back on the double disc idea for himself cause he's too boring to hold an album down alone.

More Fish has songs that are better than the ones on Fishscale, but also has stuff that's way worse (anything featuring Wigs, the Theodore Unit bullshit that Ghost doesn't even appear one) Very uneven album.
