NASA has linked with Apple to curate a playlist for its Juno Mission, whose unmanned probe is due to reach Jupiter’s orbit on July 4. After artists like Weezer, Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross, and My Morning Jacket's Jim James, it is now GZA's turn to show his support. The track is called "The Spark" and was produced by Paul Ryder of Happy Mondays.
Total Respect to the Older God! The GZA has done it again...In the matter of 3 minutes he breaks the entire universe down and made it rhyme!
If this is the introduction to what he's created on his fabled "Dark Matter" album, it's going to be a next level kind of project. MC's like this are truly unique!
I really don't know what to think about this.
opinions are amazingly divided on this one (being serious here, not ironic)
if the whole album turns out to sound this way (lyrics & beats) it's not something I'll listen to often. a lyric booklet would help me focus. this makes me sound like a complete retard but I never said I wasn't one
Retired.
fuck Itunes though couldnt hear the track Imma wait for the album might come out in the next ten years.
N.I.
I heard him drop this accappella at a couple live shows last year, loved it
the beat is okay, the lyrics are exactly what you'd hope for out of "Dark Matter"
This shit is HARD! lol
I guess all it took was him sounding more alive to get my attention. The beat is a great, lyrics are 100% and the subject matter is great too. I hope he drops a whole science album lol
hahah dude i'm on my 3rd listen and going
interesting track, wonder what the rest of the content on the album will have..
sounds like a Dilla beat to me...
and fuck itunes and its spyware. thanks for the youtube upload.
