Watchmen Had a Dope Wu Album Within 2 cds of Filler

I hadn't spent too much time with this double cd but decided to give it a proper listen and this is what I came away with....

Most of the album seemed like pure filler or just garbage, but among all that bullshit I found 11 tracks and 2 skits that if this had been the album I think I would have held this group in higher regard.

It makes you wonder if this was on purpose, like they wanted to make a wu sounding album but politics prevented them from fully doing so. So they just hid it among the bullshit...or maybe I'm just giving them too much credit?

I never bothered to learn their names. I know one of them was called Black Mask who I heard has passed away but that's about it. They were signed to Wu-Tang Management, nothing to do with Chambermusik.

BlackMask (RIP) and 7ht 7ign have some solo stuff out that I'm aware of (youtube that ish)

some good tracks on the album, some mainstream songs too that didn't succeed as much

I remember thinking the same thing (mostly garbage with a few bangers). I also remember I did a wu mashup mix back in the day and I used that same into...thinking those fuckers copied my shit
