Also I'll reiterate to anybody training seriously. Add Farmers carries to your workouts. They're simply The BEST overall exercise for you entire body. The Grip strength you'll gain from adding them over a 3 month period alone will improve every single lift you do.

If so, Make sure you're tucking your elbows when you lower the weight, also with tall body and long arms do not go to your chest, it's pointless and will destroy your rotator cuffs, 2-3 inchs off your chest with long arms is perfect. when I first started training 15 years ago, id constantly fuck my shoulders up over the year, and realised it was because my flat bench was too deep.

Also work on your Triceps. Triceps help massively in bench press. overhead lateral tricep extension 10 sets of 8. once a week will massively improve your bench power as will tucking your elbows when you bench.
Yeah brah I got long fucking limbs. One rep bench feels like 3 reps for manlets. I always pause touch chest when benching. No bounching. My shoulder health is good. Got no RC problems. Probably because my back overpowers my chest. Did a lot of rear delt work.

I think my form is just wack. When I see other people bench, I see them arching their back and pushing with their feet. I guess that's proper form. I don't really care much for that or my bench number.

I always bench with a small incline and my back flat on the bench. It's almost an incline floor press. Two and a half plate bench on a good day. Usually two plates for reps followed with 40 kilo dips. Chest if good, I'm good.

Gonna try that 3 inch from chest bench thing you suggested and maybe throw in some more tricep isolation stuff. Good poast.

Yeah. There are powerlifters on YouTube doing Farmers Carries of >200lbs. Steroids and fast food apparently.

Yeah. I wish I were that strong.

Me? My bench is still the same at 290lbs (with belt and wrist warps) and deadlift is still at 405lbs (with belt). I've been at a plateau for a while now. I've done what Origin and you post but work/life gets in the way of training.

Jasper got that Nordic strength. That's why you see all them Wisconsin white boys on the O-line constantly tearing holes open making Badger running backs famous in college football.

COVID-19 had the Michigan gyms shut down for six months. I lost muscle and strength. My numbers are down and I struggle benching 225lbs. I'm slowly but surely working my way back to normal.
