I can write a book on this as a Liverpool fan. It has to be Andy Carroll though.
Paul Vautin. Very good player in his day who made international and rep honors but put in zero effort with us and got paid a lot. Bludger of a signing. He did one of those "on the record" type interviews recently and basically said he didn't want to be there, missed his previous club etc at least he admits he was a dud

I think he averaged less than 2 points per game and maybe 5 mins play time
Maybe Darko Pancev, He just won the CL with Red Star Belgrade and was the top scorer in Europe and won the Golden Boot, turned out to be one of the biggest flops ever.
Oh, Quaresma was another flop but we won the treble when he was there even though he played like 2 games so can't really complain.

they way they played was so sexy.. barca have tried to emulate them ever since. lol
