Default Ghost and Rza have really good chemistry

The ghost + rza combination on tracks doesn't get talked about enough. I would almost almost say they're a better combination together than ghost and chef.

I noticed that ghost is different on tracks with each member. It's pretty smart of him. When he's with chef he raps more about crime and chef shit, he's also more aggressive. When he's with Rza he's more experimental and ridiculous or more moral/wise. I also noticed he's 'crazier' when he's on tracks with ODB.

Saw and interview with Divine where Divine was saying Ghost is successful cause of his work ethic and that when the classics were being made he stayed in the studio and made sure he was on as many albums as possible. That's why he had enough material to drop a full album after doing 1/2 of cuban link.

but yeah, Ghost and Rza on tracks is nuts.

Ghost was amazing on that Banks and Steelz track "love and war". That verse confirmed Ghosts greatness once again.

Well, it was RZA & Ghost who were the brainchild(s) of Wu-Tang. After the careers of The Genuis and Prince Rakeem didnt fare too well, Rakeem (RZA) went back to the drawing board and together with Ghostface started to plant the seeds of what would eventually become the Wu-Tang Clan. RZA & Ghost are from the same projects in Stapleton, Staten Island. The rest of thr crew are from Park Hill, Staten Island and Brooklyn. In fact, RZA & Ghost recorded the first song under the Wu-Tang Clan name, which was "After The Laughter" (later renamed "Tearz" on the 36 Chambers album). They then got the rest of their crew (Genius, Ol' Dirty, Method Man, Raekwon, Deck and U-God) to record "Protect Ya Neck" (their first single). These two songs were the first Wu-Tang Clan songs. The rest, as they say, is history. Also, if u notice, on all the early albums, RZA & Ghost are both credited as Executive Producers. It was them (along with Mitchell "Divine" Diggs and Oliver "Power" Grant) who financed/put the money up to start Wu-Tang Productions. This company not only served as production company, but also as management and was able to secure deals for the entire Wu-Tang Clan (as a group) on Loud and (as solo acts) on Def Jam, Elektra, Geffen, Epic/Sony, Gee Street/V2 and Priority records.

Raekwon is on after the smoke is clear

Rza and ODB too. There should've been more tracks like Cuttin heads

I wonder if ODB was just difficult to get in the studio period. Dirt sounded good on tracks with a lot of members, namely Rza, Meth and even Ghost

Yea, Dirty was real tight with Ghost back then. Being that RZA & Ghost were starting Wu-Tang, Ghost told RZA fuck it, lets get your cousins from Brooklyn down with us. Ghost was really fond of Dirty. They were like brothers. So it was a no-brainer for RZA to include GZA (who had some experience of his own in the music biz, and was the elder and wisest cousin) and Dirty. RZA also went and got Raekwon (who he knew since second grade) and the rest of the Park Hill crew across town (known as DMD crew), which was Meth, Deck and U-God. Cappa was part of DMD crew as well but got incarserated and came out around the time of the Cuban Linx album.

    thanks 8

I had never heard of Melquan either

could it be this guy? I just ran his name through youtube

    nice cut

found another PE related track with this Melquan

EDIT : I googled wu + Melquan and it says RZA and GZA were managed early on (around the time of All In Together) by a guy called Melquan, who was also a producer (source https://books.google.be/books?id=S0b...island&f=false looks like you can read this whole book about the wu online btw)

I would assume these two Melquans are not the same person
