some that i forgot, these are some sick albums... ihave a hard time seeing "The Diary" as a new album though, since i've been banging hte shit out of htat since 2008... but it's great to be able to add it to the collection and themixing, sequeincing, and mastering is excusite.


K-DEF and EL DA SENSEI dropped a very dope album called "The Enforcers".

i haven't checked KA's new album yet - but his LP with preservation from last year was INSANE, love that LP so if you've been sleeping be sure to check it out

Idk if it's your cup of tea but A$AP Rocky's latest album is good

those are the only two I would recommend from this year, everything else has been ass. If you like listening to albums specifically for the fact that they're ass I can give you a list of bangers.

Hotel Paranoia by Jazz Cartier was my favorite this year.

I'd also like to mention Drake's ''Views'' and Tory Lanez' ''I Told You'' and that whole OVO movement. I know they're not pure rap like the other artists mentioned here but I have always liked R&B but could never listen to a full Ne-Yo album for example. These guys have transcended genres and make albums I can listen to in full that are not just filled with love songs.

The NapsnDreds album "Bloodclaat" is solid throughout, he's a talented lyricist who pus good use to multiple productions by Nottz.

I know it's harder to keep up with what is and ain't good nowadays due to the nature of social media pulling us in different directions. Don't get conditioned into thinking you'll find something dope everyday. The most commercial blogs want to make you think that but really they are thinning-out the rap game with sub-par material as they post excessively in an effort to generate the most ad revenue they can. Quality over quantity wins.
