    Everything U-god goes bat shit on a track, someone else spits the best verse in their life and we're led to believe U-god doesn't go bat shit cause of it


    Mystery of Chess Boxin - Masta Killah and ODB spit career high verses
    Knuckle Headz - Ghostface rapes his mate
    Winter Warz - Cappadonna
    Bells of War - Rza
    Severe Punishment - Rza
    Triumph - Deck, Gza
    Semi Automatic - Streetlife
    on and on

    This is the worst example
    U-god is going off, but Lethaface lost all sympathy for syrian refugees on this one

    this just got me thinking of that. ive gotten soft nowadays. smh damn.

    U God knows how to set it off. he must have some weird personality that brings the best out of people and that in turn enables people to do well around him and ascend what he brings to the table.

    personal anecdote... i did a project with my boy and he brought out a different (not really different but you get it) side of me and i (with my style) felt like i ascended him pretty much on every track, lyrically at least. but the competition was there between us thats probably how it is with baby u.

    Who cares if other rappers outshine U-God on songs he does with them. He's a good rapper.

    I agree on some points but not on others. Altho on Mystery Of ChessBoxin had incredible verses from Deck and Masta Killa, I think U-God's verse is equally as good. To me, those three were were the highlights on that song. I agree about Ghost having the best verse on Knuckleheads, but come on lets be serious. ONB4CL was pretty much Ghost's album, even more so than Chef's. Ghost topped EVERYONE (besides Nas on Verbal Intercourse) on that album. Cappadonna owns Winter Warz, with U-God and Masta Killa both coming in second place. Ghost (surprisingly) had the weakest verse on Winter Warz, on his own album (he was actually better on Rae's Cuban Linx, and Rae was better than Ghost on IronMan, in my opinion). I think U-God had the best verse on Bells Of War. Severe Punishment goes to U-God (he set the tone nicely), Raekwon and Masta Killa. Triumph goes to Deck of course, but its hard for anybody to top Deck's verse after he set it off with that legendary verse. And as far as Semi Automatic, I think U-God and Deck's verses are tied at # 1 and 2nd place goes to Streetlife.

    ODB stole the show in Mystery of Chessboxing. I don't see how anyone matched Streetlife on Semi-automatic.

    Personally I have never given a flying fuck who had the best verse on any song. I don't understand the obsession. U-God has dropped highlight verses on pretty much all Clan albums though.
