    ill cover

Caper I don't know how many copies you got pressed up and how fast they are selling. I wanna buy the new album but I'm in some financial doodoo right now and am on a bit of day to day living atm. I got some extra money coming in in December. would it be possible to put a physical copy aside for me so I can order it come December?

I would be grateful if this were possible.

when I saw the OP yesterday I played 'The Hidden Hand Technique' and 'The Buddha Palm Technique' and 'The Imperial Sword' EPs. some really ill music on there

got my headphones on for this one ...

I have a question before I start reviewing. are the dialogues taken from the movie Mantis Fists & Tiger Claws Of Shaolin? https://www.amazon.com/Mantis-Fists-...lin+tiger+claw or from a different source?

INTRO - nice opening dialogue snippet, sets the atmosphere right. I like the beat too. ALLOW THE TIGER TO ROAM FREE!

Tiger Claw - okay, hands down MONSTER TRACK RIGHT HERE. effective killer beat, could listen to this all day. Caper goes in with his martial raps. I like the second verse best. Good similes throughout the song. TIGER STYLE'S UNBEATABLE!

NO FEAR - menacing beat right here. Caper sounding very confident again. I SHATTER THE WINDOWS OF DESTINY

CHINICAN CONNECTION - victorious horns! good addition of martial arts sound effects. all great verses but imo Maximus took it. Saunt adds a nice different flavor to the track. WATCH OUT FOR THE BRAIN GAUGING

EVIL MASTERZ - really elegant beat. this slightly understated beat is my third fav on the album. btw I'm a sucker for female vocal samples so that little shout was a plus too. I'M SHIFTING REALITY FROM A LOST EQUATION

TROJAN HORSE - hypnotic beat, best one on the album for me. some excellent social commentary from Caper on this one. really heartfelt track. WE NEED SOME UNITY FOR OUR OWN UPRISING

VICIOUS CLAWZ - beat is hard as nails. Caper goes in. THE CLAN'S HEAVY WITH MACHETES

THE LOST SCRIPTURES OF FU JOW PAI - once again great intro dialogue snippet - MY SWORD IS MY SOUL, IT CANNOT BE BOUGHT - everyone comes correct on this one, impressive posse cut. I'M THAT DUDE THAT MEN MEDITATE ALTERNATE PAY FOR. No Ordinary sounding kinda young or is it just his voice?

gravey after hearing that verse I'm gonna need to hear the new albums ...

IN CAGED RAGE - dope beat. first time I heard Kraze Kanbee I think, he made a good impression

TEN TIGERS - my second favorite beat right here. DSR showing most of their talent on here. would have been good to hear Skamp spit a verse as well but the tiger cage is only so big lol. everybody flowing well again on this one. I like the diversity in flows a lot. Automatik Greatness' short verse was pure lava. Redd Rebel switching up his style a lil bit for his closing verse, liking it.

this album was really well put together, just like the previous few EPs. this album is longer of course, has more features and feels like a well rounded album, tied together by Caper's sharp barbs, the selected dialogue snippets and Clanarchy's consistenly high end beats which are as good as but sound distinctly different from Beatjitzu's great lofi beats that were on display on the previous EPs. clearly Caper can carry a full album on his own (we've been witness to that before) but the features on here definitely add to the project, with Maximus, Graveyard Shifter and Automatik Greatness competing for the best feature. also a shoutout to Saunt's different type of flow. Caper's flow is consistently on point throughout the album

easily a 9 out of 10 for me

Well first off, I appreciate you taking the time out to review, really much appreciated.

Caper is definitely the type of guy I can send a beat with confidence knowing I'm going to get some hot verses back. The features def did their thing too.

It's funny that you mentioned Beatjitzu in the review, as I was just saying on another forum that the obvious production for this album would've been the lo fi Kung fu style. I could've done that but personally I'm not actually a big fan of that style....When Caper came with the idea to me I knew I wanted to capture the essence of it but have it more epic like how Vicious Claws and Tiger Claw (let me know if u haven't heard my alternative mix of the track) came out.

Ref the movie samples I'll get back on that but I'm pretty sure you are right about mantis fists.....I got a obscene amount of Kung fu movies and forget where I sample from. That dope Trojan Horse sample is from a Ennio Morricone track by the way but I don't remember which one lol.

The feedback so far has been good and I also plan to release the instrumentals soon. Thanks again for the thorough listen. Peace
