They do a good job of reporting on shit that the US government would rather not be discussed. Just today they had a story on how Google was going to start posting anti-hilary titles for pro-hilary articles. I laughed but went to find clips on Hilary starting the Birther movement (which she did), and most of the Youtube videos on youtube's first page were exactly that

I don't watch RT but I stumble upon some of their interviews here and there. However, I avoid all global TVs, especially Al-Jazeera which is by far the lowest form of propaganda. I like to watch Russian televisions for the sake of language practicing and their girls who are more or less cute.

yeah they do have so solid whores. I fucking hate Aljazeera and BBC. For one BBC is state media and the idea of the UK being a democracy is a joke, and Aljazeera just spends days trying to convince you that israel is the reason you're not getting laid. BBC is propaganda as well, more so than AJ. You notice it more when they're reporting on Africa the way you notice it when AJ is reporting on the middle east. The Chinese one is trash too lol CCP or something like that. They don't report 'bad news' lol.
American media is just celebrity death match and rap battles about politicians. 100% opinions and no information unless it's local news reporting on cats and kids visiting retirement homes, but the international field seem 10x worst.
CCTV is the name of Chinese one. LOL @ their reporters with a Cilvaringz accent. But anyway, I think that all of forementioned TV's will be worse as the time passes by simply due to this growing Cold War atmosphere.
Mainstream media have been discredited in general. That recent Huff Post situation sums it all up.

Russia Today actually had some decent shows in the beginning but theres only so many conspiracy theories one can take. BBC is a load of crap, Al Jazeera gives decent insight into the middle east.
BBC is dope for the their docs and series.
I don't watch news channels anymore. It's not like I don't trust them but I get my news online.

The worst one is the Beijing Times or whatever it's called, the state owned one. Their coverage of the South China Sea stuff is hilarious propaganda how the Chinese want peaceful resolutions to removing the Philippines and others out of their land and how the Philippines are attacking China and the west are conspiring to destroy China. Then of course a few weeks later Chinese people are protesting in Australia demanding a peaceful resolution to kicking these countries out of China's land...after the international court ruled against and before there was even any conflict or even Australian involvement. Then their coverage after my state refused to sell off the electricity to the Chinese was hilariously butt hurt.
These state run propaganda media outlets are pretty funny to read until you realise those people living in your country fall for it then it's even more depressing when you realise your own countries media is nothing but propaganda mouthpieces for the elite business sector and the majority of dickheads fall for the shit.

I like RT. Yeah it does have some shitty propaganda stuff but I like a lot of the stuff you read about UK or US news. Its also good to actually read a counter to the propaganda of anti Russia news that is ALL over western media. Most of the time it is literally them trying to counter the latest anti Russia crap out of US news rather than going straight the US first. They have a lot of Irish journalists working for them too which is pretty cool.
And in terms of state broadcasters they are no where near as bad as the BBC.
The Crimea stuff is definitely not going to be two sided but I find a lot of their shit pretty balanced. But they do seem to be pretty popular among conspiracy fans
Well yeah, that has been the no. 1 purpose of RT. But the essence of anti-Russian propaganda is based upon evil Putin, Russian fighter jets flying over Baltic sea and ''invasion'' of Ukraine. There's no real substance that can be useful to Russian citizens or something like that. Just a plain propaganda followed with irrational hatred.
Anti-Saddam, Anti-Ghadaffi and Anti-Serbian campaigns were more cruel due to the fact that these countries have been weak on the global level. I remember when British journalists reported on Libyan soldiers being equipped with Viagra pills because they come in handy during the alleged mass rapes. If an intense media campaign had not been run, Serbia and Montenegro would have never been bombed. Saddam's chemical weapons were a joke as well.
