    Default M. Night Shyamalan's 'Split'

Movie looks crazy. James McAvoy looks like a sicko in this. If you haven't seen him in the movie Filth, I suggest checking that out.

filth? they made a movie based on the Irvine Welsh book?

interesting, book kinda lost me not even half way through. was a touch immature i thought. Trainspotting was wild enough in my opinion but a lot of dudes (Shyamalan) included are one trick ponies... i just wasnt feeling it at the time.

this movie looks nasty. really liked "The Visit" so i actually look forward to Shyamalans shit now.

and ahhahha. with the set up of the main character its like going to be a plot twist every time he assumes a new personality.

I didn't think he'd be able to come back from The Happening but The Visit was dope imo. I'm not sure what he's done in between those.

I saw this last night and it was fucking awesome....right from the start.
I have so much more respect for James McAvoy after seeing him in this.
As suspenseful as the movie was, it was also hilarious at times.
M Night makes little random cameo as always and there are subliminal references to his other movies.

Also, this may be a partial spoiler

At the end there is a quick scene where he potentially ties this movie to one of his older joints. Sort of like at the end of Jason Goes To Hell where Freddy pulls his mask underground

I actually kind of like 'The Happening' now since Shyamalan has explained that it was his attempt at making a B movie and in that context it makes perfect sense.

I may check 'Split' out, I keep meaning to watch 'Filth' as well.

Watched this, definitely one of Shyamalan's better movies, James McAGOAT was great in this, the part at the end was interesting but not sure how I feel about a Shyamalan crossover flick.

    Default Split (2016)

Really enjoyed this movie the other day and thought I'd recommend it, I havent been feeling any new flicks for a while. The main actor had a great performance too.

Though Kevin (James McAvoy) has evidenced 23 personalities to his trusted psychiatrist, Dr. Fletcher (Betty Buckley), there remains one still submerged who is set to materialize and dominate all of the others. Compelled to abduct three teenage girls led by the willful, observant Casey, Kevin reaches a war for survival among all of those contained within him -- as well as everyone around him -- as the walls between his compartments shatter
