Are you being serious? So Wu-Tang calling themselves "god" is okay because the Church of Satan says it is?

Mortal men and women are extremely flawed, imperfect, and sinful. No man is worthy of godliness. There is no mortal man alive now or in history that you could model yourself after without excluding inherent characteristic and behavioral flaws.

In Mark 10:17-22 a man approaches Jesus and asks how he may obtain eternal life (immortality).

17 And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? 18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. 19 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother. 20 And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth. 21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me. 22 And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.
This man was told to give up his worldly treasures and build a treasury in heaven instead. We are also told that Satan is worldly, not heavenly. The phrase “god of this world” (or “god of this age”) indicates that Satan is the major influence on the ideals, opinions, goals, hopes and views of the majority of people. His influence also encompasses the world’s philosophies, education, and commerce. The thoughts, ideas, speculations and false religions of the world are under his control and have sprung from his lies and deceptions. Satan is also called the "prince of the power of the air" in Ephesians 2:2. He is the "ruler of this world" in John 12:31. These titles and many more signify Satan’s capabilities. To say, for example, that Satan is the "prince of the power of the air" is to signify that in some way he rules over the world and the people in it.

2 Corinthians 4:4 (KJV) 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

John 12:31 (KJV) 31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

Ephesians 2:2 (KJV) 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience

The Bible shows us that if we “resist the devil he will flee from” us James 4:7 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

The only power that Satan has over the Christian is the power we give him. For example, if a Christian lacks faith then he will have fear and having fear gives Satan power.

Scripture tells us that Satan is defeated, disarmed, and spoiled

Colossians 2:15 15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Revelation 12:7 7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Mark 3:27 27 No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.

We know that Satan is the great Deceiver, so why do you go to Satanic scripture or his "church" for advice? Do you expect to not be deceived?

Here is a great speech and discussion about Satan's attempts to deceive Jesus Christ, and how those sort of temptations are still prevalent today, such as temptations our own government tempts us with. This speech is genius. I've watched four times now. Keep in mind that the speaker is not even a Christian. He's an atheist philosopher who has still taken the time to read the Bible and contribute his analysis and comparisons to modern times:
