Your Favorite West Coast Producers

yeah, Cold 187um is my favorite as Above the Law were easily my favorite West Coast group and his production was so unique yet so funky. Have you heard his new album The Black Godfather? It's been in my rotation for a few weeks now, legendary shit there.
Dj Quik will always be there for me too. His jazzy funk is incredible. All of his albums are so dope from a production standpoint. Dre of course, his legacy is undeniable. Those guys would be my top tier.
Second tier would include Daz, Johnny J, Prodeje from South Central Cartel, Ant Banks for his great work in the bay. Add Mike Mosely and Sam Bostic and Studio Ton from the bay. Hell, Domino and Extra P from Heiroglyphics had a bunch of classics. 90's west coast is so dope in my opinion. I hear people giving this Dj Mustard props, but his beats seem to be generic g funk compared to the gods.

I forgot Muggs and Madlib and Battlecat, they would be in my second tier also.
I would add CVE (Chillin Villain Empire) also. I grew up in LA, so frequenting the good life many times, these dudes just brought heat. Probably the best hip hop I have ever heard in that era. The style and rhyme schemes and the true off the top skills of the Project Blowed dudes is unparalleled.
I like Alchemist and Evidence, but they would be in the third tier, but I like them too, just not at the level of the others mentioned.
