I can compare yatchy to an early tribe called Quest (who people laughed at as well). THough tribe was exploring and having fun with music as a whole at took the genre further, he's a low key unassuming peaceful guy that's having fun with his friends which is what.
Another issue is the fact that people have now grown up only listening to hip hop and can't dig into Inspiration for other genres which helped older hip hop not be so effing boring
