^Yeah Jay Z never really ripped other rappers but hes solid and consistent, although he def dumbed it down if you listen to his early shit.

He did rip Da Graveyard off Lifestyles of da poor and dangerous though.

Vol 1 In My Lifetime is dope as fuck though. I never hear that album been mentioned that often. Yeah its got one or two shitty trying too hard commercial tracks but the rest is some of his best material.
