"CYRUS BOZORGMEHR was the senior adviser on the Once Upon a Time in Shaolin album and worked alongside Wu-Tang Clan's RZA and producer Cilvaringz. He lives in Marrakech."
Ringz would you be willing to share what Cyrus' role was in the process of the making and/or sale of OUATIS? 'senior adviser' is a rather vague description
so this is the book you mentioned earlier on right, Ringz? I don't wanna be that guy but $26.99 is kinda steep (I know it's hardcover). that's $37 for me in Buttfuckistan when all is said n done breh. (btw for people interested in purchasing you can do the Kindle thing too at a lower price but me I just like reading things in the good old book format)
anyway I just preordered (I'll worry about the money come July) since I thought the one copy idea was interesting. I would have loved a museum tour too
and yeah we all know this is not how the album was gonna be distributed originally but what I'm not interested in is 15 more threads about OUATIS itself and people in their feels tho

Do you think the book will just be the "it's coming" thread printed on paper ? Ha
im guessing this is going to be a short story/whatever.
some brand new hardcovers over here go for 30, like Joe Torre's biography when it first came out but that was 500+ pages and worth it imo.
i will not be buying this brand new or at all even, cause the overview says... and i quote "the innovative young Wu-Tang producer, Cilvaringz,"
...innovative how exactly?
i have a feeling this book will be full of lies just like the first sentence of the synopsis.
Dudes name says it all. He's a fuckin Bozo!
I actually don't have much to do with the book in itself, including prices and cover so I don't know if the cover is final. Will ask. I do know Cyrus is a fantastic writer, don't think a big and well respected publisher like Flatiron/ Macmillan would take on a book if it was shyte. As for lies, lol, I actually think this book will finally set you all free. It's not like it's praising me all the way, on the contrary from some of the stuff I read.
As for senior advisor, yes Cyrus and RZA together were guiding quite a lot around the project. I think the book tells more about his role. Haven't read the whole thing yet.
^^thanks for clarifying

I can't imagine how this book would not be a total bore. I just can't see how this story would be worthy of more than about 10 pages.
The truth is there's really nothing I want to know about this album or anything related to it. I'm stretching to come up with anything I'd like to know about it in this moment. There's nothing.
Who the fuck cares?
If you gave me this book for free I just might let it serve as a coaster.
Liberalism is totalitarianism with a human face
Does the book detail the early beginnings of fan interaction and consultation with Cilvaringz or is that conspicuously missing?
