Logan Officially Rated R

Director James Mangold has announced that Logan is officially rated R.

The news isn’t surprising. Rumors that Logan was going to be rated R circulated very early on in the production cycle and the trailers have done nothing to dissuade that notion.

Mangold notes that the reasons for the R rating include "strong brutal violence," "language throughout," and "brief nudity."

I thought these were all dope and aside from the first one, they are off to the side, away from the X-Men and the other Marvel universe, and even in the Claremont/Miller miniseries they are barely there.









Some people would also say Origin and Old Man Logan are great, I'm not one of them.

Hopefully the nudity isn't just Hugh Jackman's ass, but that's probably all it is.

It was aight. Not as much of a comic book movie as I had hoped. Looks like its made to close the Hugh Jackman era, nothing more.
