Yep spot on. Only OB4CL and OB4CL II were good IMO

Just curious, what didn't you like about SvWT? That was pretty solid from Rae when he started catching fire again.

Honestly couldn't tell you tbh I listened to it on release and like someone else said it was a bit forgettable and never listened to it after a few spins. I might have just been disappointed it wasn't as good as CL 2 but I'll give it a spin when I get home see if I'm feeling it these days

That dude is easily the best of the bunch when looking at the guests on this album though.. If I could get an album of Cee-Lo rapping again, Rae could retire for all I care.

I felt similarly about SvWT initially. It didn't match up to CL2 but it's actually a pretty decent effort by Rae. I'd say Rock N Roll is the weak link of the album. The album as a whole has grown on me over the years.

SvWT is solid imo. Snake pond is still my jam.

actually...yeah. I'm not sure why I haven't listened to this more. Was just screwing around on my pc and listened to like the first half, then skimmed the second half...apparently my memory sucks these days. I probably just forgot about this. Speaking of snake pond...now I remember thinking it was a banger when I first heard it. I might actually buy a physical of this CD (and I rarely buy cds). Need to get this one in my rotation

Snake Pond is dope as hell. N I think I called Butter Knives his best solo track of all time not counting Incarcerated Scarfaces. Peace

SVWT was decent because Rae was trying to prove something to RZA. His other 2 good albums had heavy RZA involvement.

    Anyone see a pattern?

Interesting observation. I even like that Rock 'n' Roll track.

Agreed...even though that was the "radio track", I still liked it (and even forgot it was from that album). Take out the hook, and the song goes hard imo

Rock 'n' Roll is probaly the worst track I have heard on a Wu-Tang album!!!
