Who's verse hit u hardest?
Uey's verse hit me along with Deck's.
I was feeling every verse up until RZA's...but i know it wasnt about that so its kool.
Thats probably my favourite track on 8 diagrams. Was listening to it a half hour ago

Every verse's on it is heart-touching but Deck's:
"I carry on your struggle, each day it really hurts me
I really miss you Russell, hope you forgive me Dirty"
hits me really hard
"I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth" (Rev. 3:15-16)
I always thought this track was really corny and it make no sense that Ghostface wasn't on it.
I was actually thinking about this recently and it is definitely Deck's verse for me. How he blames himself.
Dope song, and it seemed very heartfelt especially Deck.
I think the hook repeats too much though, its just 8 bar verses then back to the Freda Payne sample (Really underrated singer btw) and it makes the song a bit repetitive.
Adding to the inter band beef Ghostface lambasted RZA for leaving him off the track ‘Life Changes’, a tribute to ODB.
When asked why he didn’t appear on the song he responded: “Because RZA was a dickhead. He left me out. RZA tried to be funny and not get that music to me. How you gonna do that? That's my brother's death.”
And when asked if RZA had ever explained the decision, Ghostface added: “No, because he knew that I'm taking his ass to court."

I go 50-50 on the blame for Ghost and RZA. I remember RZA saying the Clan was in studio for like 2 months but Ghost was only there for like 2 weeks. Don't quote me on those numbers. So in that regards that's on Ghost. But at same time RZA coulda got him on the track regardless. Especially since now a days you just email a beat. Peace
Good topic/question!
My top 3 verses in ascending order are GZA, Meth and Deck. As many have said already, Deck's hit me the hardest!!
Yes its unfortunate that Ghost wasnt on it... on a positive note its deep how RZA and GFK seemed to reconcile the matter via "Family Reunion" as Ghost's verse seemed like it was what he would have said on "Life Changes"...
RIP to all our deceased loved ones. May they live on thru our memories and continuing their legacy!

Yeah GZA verse was deep. Uey was powerful on this
Thats fucked up from Rza. Its like not having Ghost rap on I cant go to sleep.
N.I.
Song shoulda been
2verses hook
2 verses hook
2 verses hook
2 verses holk
Instead of hook after wvwry verse. Slows the shit down too much. I like the beat n everything but the hook repeats way too much
And if u listen, it seems like the guys followneach other up perfectly so theres no need to even split the shit up with the hooks. I made my own version taking out half the hooks, plays much better
And for about best verse. Idk always likedbrzas n raes. Gzas was the realist
Why does Deck blame himself? Anyone have a back story about this??
Ins killed this shit sincerely
