I definitely do not wanna be a hyphenated African!!! Some Africans were the sellers of slaves to the Europeans. A lot of times the European slave buyers and slavemasters are condemned by us Blacks. The first slave masters that we Blacks have encountered were Black and they sold us!!! We should condemn those Black slavemasters and slavesellers as much as we condemn the White slave masters and slave buyers. The White man in the form of politicians have apologized on the behalf of those evil White slavemasters and buyers for the crimes they've done, but where is the apology from the (West African) Black man on behalf of the Black slavemasters and sellers for their crimes???? Them (West) Africans wanted nothing to do with us which is why we were sold for alcohol and precious metals. Did any of them try to rectify the situation? Why should I want anything to do with them?
