I was way disappointed. Not as good as previous specials. You can't stay on top forever i guess. Sort of like the rap game. I wonder who is going to be be considered the best in coming years.

Chappelle recently said in an interview Trump has been awful for comedy, since it's only made comedians lazy and redundant.
I stopped less than half way through so he didn't get there. I wouldn't be surprised. Chappelle avoided that gay ass peasant shit and he's right. I'll try to finish it tonight but CK was in my top three until that special and I've never skipped on his shit
There's a dude at my work that watches SNL and these other YouTube comedy shows and 90% it is about Trump and hardly any of it is funny. I don't know how people can watch so much about the same subject and be entertained.

in the US SNL is either on ABC NBC or CBS but those are the 'lowest common denominator' channels for content that means nothing to everyone so anyone can watch it. People that actually watch it avidly are the background characters of life and use Yahoo to search for things. Wasn't always the case but that's what it is.
I think making fun of trump is stupid because he's already funny and if you're 'making fun of him' then you're effectively being trolled. Just show actual footage of him talking and doing stuff and you'll die laughing. A friend of mine posted about how he openned a random page on The Art of the Deal and a random page on The Audacity of Hope. Obama's page was about how the partisan divide has become a political playground and an introspective assessment on whether he can really effect society in the context of politics as sport. Trumps was about telling a ten year old get to tell her 'fucking dad to pay his rent' and how the little girl ran inside and her mom came out soon after. Then about how the mom was legit hot.

I don't know how you can avoid making fun of Trump though. Do you just ignore his shenanigans and pretend its normal? It has to be pretty difficult to avoid if you're an american comic trying to say anything about modern society in your act. Jerry Seinfeld would make the same observations no matter what was going on but I can't think of many US comics that don't get a bit political. I highly doubt Chappelle will get through 4 years without making a bunch of Trump jokes, no matter what he might claim atm.

Trump is shocking because everyone is now realizing that there are racist entitled rich white men in america. Chappelle did he's 'stance' on trump on SNL where he and chris rock were cracking up that he won and liberal white ppl were devastated. The joke wasn't really trump but the reaction, the same way South Park did Obama. If he does i doubt it will be 'trump is stupid' or 'trump is racist'. We'll see
