Default Visit The Landmark Wu-Tang Clan Exhibition In Paris

Great news for all you hip-hop fans: there’s going to be an exhibition dedicated to the Wu-Tang Clan, the mythical rap group from the East Coast, in Paris (France).

Curated by Olivier Annet N'Guessan and John Mook Gibbons (RZA’s cousin and CEO of Wu-Tang Management), this retrospective entitled "Wu Lab" will celebrate the group's 25th anniversary.

From May 5- 18, the new hip-hop cultural center in Paris, La Place, will host this exhibition as a world premiere.

The event will showcase the creative universe of the Wu-Tang Clan through paintings, recordings and album covers, clothes, unpublished photographs or objects never shown before (we wonder if Martin Shkreli would have liked to lend his unique copy of Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, the most expensive album in the world?).

Several events will be organised in parallel with the exhibition, such as the screening of Gerald Barclay's documentary Wu: The Story of The Wu-Tang Clan, an open private view featuring official Wu-Tang DJs (May 10), children's workshops and the presentation of Olivier Annet N'Guessan's book Wu Lab (May 11).
The "Wu Lab" exhibition will take place from May 5th to 18th at La Place, 10 passage de la Canopée, Paris. After Paris, the next stop will be London and who knows, it might even end up on our side of the pond after.
