Eye watched this and found it very interesting. Cheers for posting. I had hoped they might touch on that embarrassing Wu diss Pop did, as it was quite relevant to the discussion, but maybe a good thing they didn't.

I did wanna check out this album and I think I even looked for a dl when it dropped and couldn't find one. Will try again now.

i remember from an old interview that Ghostface said he was going to have Pop da Brown Hornet on his next album. Don't remember if that was Supreme Clientele or Bulletproof Wallets.

GP Wu definitely piggy backed on the Wu though at the time.

Nothing wrong with that though, loved their album back in 96/97??

Doggie Diamonds is really giving haters a platform to shine. Great interview though, brought perspective to why there's a 'killa bee' movement though none of them used the term which is interesting.

Not sure I agree with this, at least AFAICR. I don't recall them mentioning wu-tang one time on don't go against the grain...actually, the only thing I can remember that sounded wu related was when I think it was dlr that said "suuuuuuuuuicide" in chamber danger.

I enjoyed the interview...I rarely will sit through 20 min yt video but i watched this. Was nice to hear a different story.

Re: bobh...it was meh, unfortunately. It's worth a listen, but I think I only recall like one banger...there were some ok songs, and the rest was whack af.

^i don't watch interviews at all, but for some reason I did this one and actually found it really interesting.

I sampled 2 songs from album this morn and one was horrible and the other OK. Not so keen to hear it now, but will get to it when I can.

I'm sure I read somewhere that they are cousins.

i have an old HHC magazine with a super dope RZA interview from like 2004 where he mentions that there were a few cats that were Wu-Tang (Clan) material that got away.. the two names he mentioned were Scotty Wotty (first time i learned of him) and Pop Da Brown Hornet.
