What I still don't get is if Sean actually finished this album before he passed away. Is it still his concept or some Duck Down compilation of tracks? Does anybody know?

In discussing the anniversary, Duck Down’s CEO Dru Ha spoke to XXL magazine, and revealed that the incredibly prolific Sean left lots of music behind. Revealing that the label is working with Price’s widow, Bernadette, Dru stated that he and Buck’ are planning a number of fan-forward releases from the Brownsville bully. “We were blessed and his wife, Bernadette, was very fortunate as well, with how much music he left behind. He must’ve recorded over 100 songs that haven’t been put out.
^^ That I would imagine does not include the albums recorded with Fame and Illa Ghee.. Loads of material to be released :P
Man, thanks a lot for the info and your repost here! I kinda overlooked it in the RIP section. Can't wait for the album and the one with Illa Ghee.
From what I've seen on social media posts, his wife and others were working on completing Imperius Rex so my guess is that they either got in extra producers/guests to finish it all up.
