    Default Jay-Z quoting Masta Killa

On song "Legacy" off the new 4:44 album (which is actually FIRE), Hov actually recites Masta Killa's lines from "Family reunion". This album is very honest and upfront, the production is handled by No-ID, and it sounds like 1995 again. Y'all should check this album out for sure..

More than likely took it from Ghostface on Glaciers of Ice...

I've been like listenin' to Wu-Tang and niggas like
"Your seed, married his seed, married my seed"

However, this is Jay's very next line, so maybe he was listening to A Better Tomorrow

Glaciers Of Ice is even featured in Tidal playlist "4:44 samples"

wow this is very slick and typical Jay-Z to keep building on the previous line although you might not know thats what he's doing.
i think you are spot on Art, and i'm not suprised Jay-Z heard "A.B.T." or at least heard a few songs and read the tracklist... Slick! nice catch, repped

Yes Jay did quote a Ghost line in the song 'glaciers of Ice' BUT this song 'Legacy' was absolutely inspired from Wu's ABT track, I believe called 'family reunion'. NO ID used the same sample that Rza used in Family Reunion or at least some of it. also, everything Jay does on 'legacy' from his tone of voice, his flow and even the talking in between is 100% Masta Killa. Id like to think he's paying homage to a fellow BK Legend and one of the most underrated emcees in the game PERIOD.
