Default Hell Razah - 'Heaven Razah' (2010) album appreciation thread

been playing the album a lot lately. some great tracks on there with dope often soulful beats and razah's flow is on point

one of his best solo albums

I like this one better than the album he dropped with Blue Sky Black Death. BSBD's beats on Holocaust's album were better than the ones they picked for Razah imo

This is one of my favourite Razah joints. Probably this and the T.H.U.G Angelz stuff are my favourites from Razah.

Wasn't there aHeaven Razah 2 album as well? I'm sure I've got it on my hard drive, not sure if it was an official album though or something pieced together after his health problems.

    Peace!

^^yes. it was renamed Living After Death and was released in 2013. IIRC there are digital DLs only for that project

Cool. Tbh don't really remember this album as well as "Renaissance Child"... incentive to play it. Lol might just do so today.

Anyway Razah always been my FAV from Sunz of Man!

YO THANKS for the thread as it led me to relisten to this album. WOW very righteous album (perfect for Sunday lol). Very spiritual and lyrical. Razah def accurate when he said he wasn't a rapper but a wordsmith.
    PEACE

Always been a big Razah fan. Criminally underrated. Think I prefer Renaissance Child but I could see the argument going either way. Peace

the beat on the intro always gets me hype for the album

only today did I play the source track for the first time

sampled the best part of the track (00:40 onward) indeed imo, those sampled lyrics work well with the theme of Razah's album too
