An Odd series of events took place inside the bottom of a Pyramid. A long standing Pharaoh by the name of MENES unearthed a cold sarcophagi dusty like the grooves of a record. Without any strain he removed the lid and out flooded a luminous white light, followed by a Golden Masked fellow. A rhythmic conversation ensued, followed by barrels of finely aged wine and snare drums compressed by the SP-404. Feeling the overbearing and resounding importance of this meeting, MENES decided to no longer rebury the Golden Mask. “Together, we shall have a Party, Right here in this Pyramid!” MENES exclaimed. The response, although underwhelming, did not deter the almost old Pharaoh into less enjoyment of the task.

Golden Flasks! Golden Food! Golden Pharaohs! Golden Servants! Golden Statues! Golden Mics! Golden Turntables! Everything was glimmering with the unmistakable aura of Gold. But what is a Party without guests? Once his throne and tomb were in order ; emeralds and falcons oscillating, MENES sent his most treasured bird all across the lands with a note attached to her leg : TO ALL WHO WISH TO REVEL FOR ETERNETIES , COME TO MY PYRAMID AT ONCE!

To the COLD NORTH for the Basement Dwellaz, To POSEIDONs Den for sea/swordz, To a Dirty NY Slum for 7rinth, To the FOREST FORTRESS for Purple Dialect, To a CORPSE LITTERED TRENCH for Maximus Da Mantis, and To the BRICKS for El Da Sensei, the bird flew with unquestionable accuracy and speed. Gathering as many beautiful woman and blunt wrapz as she could along the way. The day finally came ; and the Party goers began to arrive one by one. Slowly but surely the “Party in a Pyramid” had begun. And the rest is written in soundwaves that are bouncing around our universe right now.

Listened to this joint today. First of all I was pretty dismayed when I saw all the features in the tracklist. But I believe you normally roll with a crew so I guess that's the other members guesting on your solo joint, which is understandable. Was also dismayed when I saw the album ran over an hour. Personally I'd rather see a personal statement that fits somewhere within the 45 minutes max range. Guests on maybe 2 or 3 tracks. But that's just me.

When I first watched the video you had in the link I wasn't feeling your steez, but it kind of grew on me. I can dig it. I'd have to say that after hearing what I assume is the rest of your squad, you have the strongest presence and most interesting style of the crew. I enjoyed the album. Nice beats and well constructed songs and album as a whole. Regarding the length of it I will say I def started to lose interest about halfway in. That's the risk you run by making an album too long. The good news is that I actually wanna hear it again though.

My fave track first thyme 'round was Feral Tomb.

Appreciate the listen NOEL ; want to address a few glaring points that have been made to me numerous times. But first and foremost thanks for listening.

The Dismay of FEATURES was to be expected ; especially considering I called it a solo album lol... The thing was I wanted to fully enunciate the concept of a "Party in a Pyramid".. that was the ploy, a SOLO that wasn't really that. I have numerous other solo's that are exactly that, but for this go around, I wanted to have all my people out.

The Dismay of LENGTH was also to be expected. I agree that we have only so much time in a day, or so much free space in our mind. It was overly long ; yes. However as you said [ and I truly am gratified ] you want to listen to it again. That was the goal I suppose. That on third, fourth and fifth listen, you would find new tracks that are considered a "favourite". Depending on your mood ECT, each listen of the album will prove something different. But those are all just excused for an album thats too long ahah. I think it holds its own effectiveness and ineffectiveness simultaneously.

Yo I got some mean cats on this album ; so I'm honoured your feeling my steez. Everyone on the album is a collective of my peoples for sure, all of us have made a lot of music together [ minus El Da Sensei but I got a few tracks with him ], Stranded / sea/swordz on NORTHWEST GRAVE and STRING THEORY is an absolute beast. You should check out more of his music.

All in all yo, much respekt due for checking it out, and I look forward to you hearing the album again and giving me a second run down. I did put a lot of work into the construction of the album and Im glad you saw that. It wasn't just slapped together aimlessly. Feral Tomb is one of my favourite joints as well... That beat and chorus are defining of what I was looking for on the album. Its not for everyone ; I know that much, and don't fault anyones opinion, but I think there is some genuinely cool music to be found in it. Peace
