Cilvaringz and/or RZA could buy the album back. I have no info on their current networth, but the original album sale must have netted them a nice sum after the project investor (the guy who fronted Cilvaringz the recording budget, which included fees for the artists who recorded verses for the project) and Paddle8 had been paid. The figure of $ 2 million as the amount that OATIS sold for was more of a media estimate based on statements by Martin Shkreli I think, so it's hard to say how much Cilvaringz and RZA earned with the sale.

Still, I would assume that as the figure of $ 100,000 was mentioned on eBay for the current sale, I can see Cilvaringz and RZA being able to hold their own amidst a bidding war on OUATIS.

I mentioned M80 in an earlier post in this thread. He would know how to handle the album in a way the fans would appreciate (= making it available somehow).

RZA/Cilvaringz and M80 are good bets for fans who want to hear OUATIS I think.

I wonder if any of the parties who contacted Cilvaringz and RZA with a serious offer for OUATIS back in the day will now get involved in the current bidding process.

Of course record companies and other entertainment businesses will be involved in the bidding war too.

Any word from Bill Murray yet? lol

PS : after having read the book on OUATIS I'm convinced Cilvaringz would be eager to buy the album back and go through with his long term plan of making it available to the fans (not for free but with a very specific type of distribution + payment method)

I am reaching here but there could be an as of yet undisclosed clause in the OUATIS contract sale to Martin Shkreli that states he is only allowed to sell it on to ... Cilvaringz and RZA.
