Ringz, are any of the original sellers if the album permitted to buy back the album? If so, would the original terms of sale still apply?

i dont know if even the whole 2 mill could cover sinfully cute's food bills anyway
just like we are keeping tabs on M80's (public) moves during the auction, it seems someone has been telling him about this thread (not me) and he's pissed off at Cilvaringz' " if M80 bought OUATIS that would be hilarious" comment
he also says he doubts that everyone got paid for their artistic input on the OUATIS album, asks 'Cilvaringz show me how you paid Bronze for that beat of his you used on OUATIS?'
starts the whole post off by saying (again) the whole auction is 'fugazi' as the buyer (as in winning bid) left a feedback message on eBay (under the name l**e) that he is happy to have been able to buy 'Lost in Shaolin', with M80 pointing out that's not even the name of the album, so both the message and the auction sale are fake. That feedback message is included as a pic in M80's post
he also says Cilvaringz on here has convinced his forum fans to root for him (Cilvaringz) and his OUATIS plan, which goes to show you somebody is filling him in on wucorp, but not doing a good job as most posters here are against how the OUATIS project unfolded
to any people who talk to M80 about wucorp and who are reading this, just please tell him to check the forum himself, unfortunately he has been partly misinformed
how do people get so emotional over all of this anyway?
btw all of this is a change of tone because in some of his FB posts last week M80 mentioned 'I don't mean no disrespect to Cilvaringz'
I hope you can all read the FB screenshots below, if not, I described at great length above what M80 stated. nobody is stopping you from adding Matthew Markoff to your FB feed. he's an entertaining FB poster and as far as I know a good guy
M80's a cool dude, I'm surprised he's suddenly angry over this
for the record I do think M80 is right in saying (earlier on) the eBay auction was just a marketing tool to get the word out to potential private buyers. And I agree with him when he says it's strange the supposed buyer is referring to the album as 'Lost in Shaolin'. I know that name circulated in the press before but still, you'd think the buyer would know it's called OUATIS
I don't want to cause any bad blood between artists by posting this, I think this is an unfortunate development

The emotions are killing me! all about a fake copy and paste cilvaringz album! this is gold.
Markoff is a fucking snake. Always has been and always will be. I would of rather watched Martin burn that LP on his Youtube page than M-80 own it. plenty of heads in the industry can't stand the dude. he used to frequent this forum allot until Angry! bodied him every time he posted.
He single handedly fucked that HRSMN album. How fuck was that clown going to manage Canibus?

would you be willing to expand on that (HRSMN or other M80 related stuff)? what have you experienced / heard about? if you don't want to go into that that's cool too
one of the experiences I had as a rap fan / customer was M80 getting a greatest hits compilation of Canibus going on wax at RBC, which M80 works for / owns (am not sure which one)
the idea was that fans had been clamoring for some Bis on wax FINALLY and M80 and Bis decided to give it a try
now the way this was set up was they needed a pre-order of 100 (that's right, only one hundred) pre-orders for the LP to make sure it would be profitable. you could order a CD version too if you preferred that, but it would all only go down with 100 pre-orders on the wax version. it was just a regularly priced record, nothing expensive
extra incentive for the purchase were 2 brand new Bis tracks on the LP
I ordered the CD (which I really wanted) AND the LP (just to help make the project happen)
all of the interested potential buyers were on a shared mailing list. M80 gave us regular updates on the project, included info on how the pre-orders were going, sent quite a few e-mails to get more people on the list to join in the purchase etc
mind you these were all people who had ASKED for Bis on wax in the first place
In the end it reached in between 50 and 75 pre-orders IIRC. We got a profound apology from M80 explaining at length why it now wouldn't happen, detailing production costs etc
My point is : fans want things to happen until they have to put their money where their mouth is. M80 went balls in on making this project happen at the behest of both Bis and the fans. Imo he spent an extraordinary amount of time getting the project off the ground, for limited profit (we're talking one hundred records, come on)
guess who the fans bitched about when the LP didn't happen?
a lot of rap fans are cheapskates, putting a lot of time into making their opinions known. substantiating that with a purchase? not so much
so after all of this I sent M80 an e-mail to thank him for his efforts and he was real humble about it
I like how he kept fans in the loop throughout the pre-ordering process
this is my limited but positive personal experience with the man that is M80 (apart from his private life as detailed on FB)

Great example. It's the same with OUATIS. A whole bunch of yelling and screaming and how dare they and bla bla... but when "fans" tried twice to do a crowdfunding for this album, what did it amount to? 15.000 usd.
You think the whole world wants this album, but it's not true. The whole world just wants to have an opinion about it and act like they wouldn't have done this if they had the chance. Truth of the matter is, it's bullshit.
^^ coming from the dude how wanted to make the album that the fans wanted to hear lol

Another M-80 update. He got a letter from Martin Shkreli's kegal representative in the matter of the auction.
Also he posted this hilarious message he got from this who claimed HE put in the highest offer
Let me know if you can't read the stuff below, I gotta be somewhere now but can add a more detailed description later today if necessary
