    Default The Wild is exceptional

After several listens, I think this is rae's second best album depending on how you feel about immobilarity (which i also think is great)

    peace to nova scotia

Great album. Soulful. It sounds contemporary, but in a good way. Not like FILA. I put it below OB4CL I & II but above the other albums. Shaolin VS Wu-Tang (or was it the other way around) was good too.

The Brown Tape/12 reasons is incredible, though ghosts flow is uneventful. The wu features were really good, especially ghost and cap going back and forth

I'm not feeling the concept album thing. My problem, I can't focus on the story lol. I just want some goon shit or abstract associating from Ghost

Btw have you heard 36 Seasons? I think I played it like 4 times and that was it. Same problem.

"36 Seasons" is another solid theatrical story album. My only issue w it is that it came out so soon after "12RTD" so it wasn't as fresh (imo). Even though the stories are very dif the redundancy in concept detracted some points...

re "The Wild" def a strong Rae album especially after "FILA" lol - in terms of personal ranking, it would be on par w or slightly better than "Lex Diamond Story" but below his other official albums (minus "FILA").

Yo since HMV closed in Canada I still dont have a physical copy of "The Wild" just itunes smh

I guess I should give this another listen. Kinda tired of Rae's rapping style but who knows.

same. i still really like Nothing/ Marvin/ Can't You See. Purple Brick Road is aight. But Rae totally switched the sound up on some weird shit for the rest of the album.

i not feeling the album at all , Im going to hurt some feelings with this i rank this the lowest of Raekwons catalog

I only like track 2 - This is what it comes to
    track 3 - Nothing
track 9 - MAndn & trck 6 cause its a wild track ( not because of lil wayne)
those tracks fits the Wild concept

The rest is some soul & new generation rap-ish

It was average to me, not terrible (except a few tracks) but certainly not exceptional. It just seems like he cuts corners too much on his production budget. Its a shame cos hes always an excellent rapper.

I was listening to INI's 'Center of Attention' LP earlier and the beats are gorgeous but it has no replay value because those rappers are bums. You can't have one element and not the other or the music stinks.

there is zero reason in 2017 for anybody in the wu to have shitty beats, or to be rapping over trap beats, it pains me really

Idk if they know that there are 100,000 producers worldwide that would send them free non-shit beats in 2 seconds.
