There might've been an annual payment, or an advance on royalties to keep them going, but it could very well be that each producer had a different deal. So I couldn't tell you for certain. All i know is that a whooooooole lot of incredible beats simple were never chosen by the artists. It's a bigger secret than OUATIS to me as to why so many amazing beats got passed on. It's worse knowing what was passed up on than not knowing by the way.
    Interesting, thanks...

Semi-related is Meth just did an interview in Desus & Mero saying that right after Tical 2, True Master tried to steal Meth's sneakers at a studio session & maybe his road manager (Seven, right?) beat him down. Maybe that's part of why Meth & True never really worked together since?

Not a functioning group no. But we did record a track not too long ago called WHALES WEEP NOT. Still waiting on Barracuda's vocals though. Waiting on him is waiting on GZA to come through with lyrics.

Funny thing though.. If you remember RZA saying in the Breakfast Club interview he kind of forgot how to make Wu beats the way we like them. Well, Moon has gone through the same thing. He couldn't get it done. I had to give him a sample to work off and finally he got somewhere and it was sounding nice. But maybe producers really do go through that shit. I know I go through it sometimes when I havent produced in a while, but I always find my way back after 4 or 5 beats.

Its either using new equipment or the sound by other producers have changed and you might change with them.

whats up with choo the specializt?

i was looking him up because of his beat on supreme clientele and noticed he was on your lin brotherz ep... was he down with your camp? how did one of his beats make it to ghost/rza? i would guess through you. he has some weird placements on albums, just looking for a lil insight if you know.

Don't comment on Wu projects myself.. I stay clear of that for no real apparent reason other than it's awkward.

Choo was not part of my click. He had his own click called Children Of Israel which were heavily influenced by Sunz Of Man and Wu-Tang. He had gotten a beat on Ghost album and one of 2Pac's album and then hollared at me to do a song together which became the one on the Lin Brotherz album.

I read on YouTube that Choo also produced a song for Tekitha, I think “Fantasy”. The commentator claim that they were Choo. Seemed pretty legit.
