anyway Cilvaringz, maybe you can answer my question about '3rd Chamber Beats'? Am I right in thinking this was NOT a project that was meant to be distributed to the public? I only have the vaguest memories about this from the time this collection surfaced online back in the day. was it a beat tape meant for the generals?

It would be awkward cause that's just not my place. I'm nowhere near capable of having bars next to them, especially not on their official record. I remember Wu-Lyricz and ThaMasta, he was a cool dude. Don't remember the other site. The 3rd Chamber was distributed to the public for that purpose. It was another beat CD that was stolen from 36 Chambers studio that was uploaded onto the net by someone.
I remember some story around after forever. Where rza was shopping for a new sampler and got called out about not being a real "musician". After the incident he started playing the samples (bob digital era). Was it a real artist or just some jerk off in a guitar center?
