I was a little conflicted after I saw the track list. I think it's odd that he has both Sean P and Prodigy on this. My first thought was that he bought verses and threw them on there to cash in on 2 legends that recently passed. I'm hoping that is not the case and he actually had sessions or at least coordinated with them previously...but for some reason I doubt that is the case...

I checked out an interview online and it confirms that Masta Killa did indeed work with Prodigy for this album. Also, after hearing the Sean P joint it's obvious that it was also a collaborate effort.

Can you talk about some of the producers and artists that you’ve worked with that may make the final project?
So far, you’ll hear Wu-Tang Clan features, of course. I don’t think anyone has heard me and Redman on something. You might have heard Meth and Red, but I don’t know if anyone’s heard me and Red. You got Prodigy from Mobb Deep. Like I said, it’s still in the creative state.

The rest of it is pretty dope, the beats are soulful and MK comes through for the most part. I like that he did a few story songs, I don't think hes done that many previously but hes pretty good at it. On Noodles (Pt.1) the dialogue sample is from the Pierce Brosnan remake of The Thomas Crown Affair if you were scratching your head as I was for a little while.

Album is dope on first listen. Nothing groundbreaking but good vintage hip hop. Better and more consistent than Selling My Soul for sure.. Nice mix between the soulful vibe of that lp and more traditional Wu sounding joints.

No weak joints really, i fuck with Flex With Me, nice Carribean vibe bounce to the beat and Masta sound good on it. Calculate is the weaker song. Features are on point and Gza, Deck and Sean P killed it.

Agree with Tiger and Mantis as well as Therapy and OGs Told Me.. Why the fuck did he make that ill skit on track 8 a short interlude though? Damn..

I could care less if some of these tracks been out as im an album guy, but had he waited and combined the best shit from Selling My Soul with the best joints from this and just released it as Loyalty it really wouldve been certified. Quality kind of drops off noticeable after Tiger / Mantis.
