Default Cilvaringz - The Killa B-Ching (Appreciation Thread).....

I've been listening to this for the last few days now and I gotta say, although 'I' is bangin', I much prefer The Killa B-Ching version. I put together a playlist using a tracklist from the original Killa B-Ching promo...

Some of the tracks were instrumentals at the time, or maybe just unfinished, I'm not sure... So I used the new versions from 'I' in place of the instrumental tracks and made a dope version of Killa B-Ching... tracklist below...

    01. Poison Ring Chamber (Intro)
    02. Wu-Tang Martial Expert ('I' Version)
    03. Razasharp
    04. Valentine's Day Massacre (Original Version)
    05. The Trivia (Interlude)
    06. The Saga... ('I' Version)
    07. Tongue Fu feat. 4th Disciple
    08. Blazing Saddles feat. Killarmy (from 'I')
    09. Ninja Starz feat. The RZA & Barracuda
    10. The Epic of Bitter Triumph
    11. Man, Woman & Child (RZA Remix)
    12. The Oldest Chamber
    13. Energy feat. Beretta 9 & 4th Disciple
    14. A Muslim & A Jew feat. The RZA & Remedy
    15. Gold Bell Cover
    16. Man, Woman & Child feat. Dom Pachino
    17. Family (Instrumental)
    18. Poison Ring Chamber (Outro)

How fuckin' craaaazy is that tracklist???!!!! 'I' was a dope album, but this shit here would have been a certified top 5 Wu fam classic!! A couple of the tracks that were originally instrumentals on the promo I've switched up, like the Buck 60 instro is Blazing Saddles and the War & Peace instro is A Muslim & A Jew.

I wish Ringz dropped this album back in the early 2000's when it was first announced. Ringz said in the Q&A thread that he was too wannabe'ish and not really saying anything lyrically, but I prefer a lot of the verses on this album because of the energy, Ringz sounds hype as fuck on a lot of these tracks! Listen to the 100% aptly named Energy track... B9 murks it and then Ringz comes in... Ringz, what the fuck were you on when you recorded that joint???? This track makes me want to swing swords and throw darts at snakes necks!!!

I prefer the original version of Valentines Day Massacre as well for the same reason, Ringz is more hype on his verse... and Blue Raspberry is a bit too much on the 'I' version imo.

Ringz, it would be dope if you could drop some knowledge in this thread on the making of these joints. I got a few questions too...

You mentioned in the Q&A thread that Energy was you, B9, 4th and Bronze... so, is there a version with Bronze spitting a verse too???

How many different versions of Man, Woman & Child are there...??? And which one is the original, or the one that you wanted on the album...? I know there's the RZA Remix, there's the version with Dom Pachino on the hook, there's the one with the same beat but without the Dom P hook, I seem to remember an instrumental version as well with another different beat but I can't find it online.

Is there a vocal version of Family or just an instrumental?? That beat is craaaaazy!!!

Was Fuck Americcca recorded around the same time as this as well??? I love the instrumental for that Fuck Americcca beat. I wish there was a studio version with you spitting over it. There is the live version out there that leaked years ago. Dope as fuck!!

Was there any other tracks recorded around the same time that were considered for the album??? Any joints still unreleased??? Was City Limits supposed to be on here? Any other tracks you care to share for us diehard fans??? Hint Hint. Lol.

Put this playlist together and bang it loud, or if Ringz will allow it I can up a link to it... shit is ridiculous!!

    Peace!

Old Cilva's better than the new one
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvBoWozRO5w

The lyrics might be wannabish but they got something the new one don't

"I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth" (Rev. 3:15-16)

    wu corp history fun fact:

the killa b ching was ONLY in possession the dutch wu heads ringz was cool with whom started this forum. they kept it amongst themselves and only traded it to certain people in their private irc wu channel

my boy was cool with warcloud (he actually added all the skits to smugglin booze for cloud) and was the FIRST to have his first two albums he dropped (nightmares that surface... & smugglin booz..). They werent meant to be released at the time.

i actually brokered the deal between KZA (of wutangworld who had killa b ching from the 5elements heads who were hoarding it for rare wu trades) and my man to trade the albums.

so technically i leaked killah b ching... and warclouds albums to the internets on widescale.

just another example of ringz sharing his wu tracks with a select few euro cac elitists...

guess i shoulda known things would never change

its a shame we never got the man woman and child rza remix instrumental.

i may forgive ringz if he releases that

^^that's some killa history right there

okay I have a question. I took out my burnt copy (yes dinosaur here) of Killa B Ching and I see something is amiss. My version has 17 tracks, while I labeled it with this official tracklist https://www.discogs.com/Cilvaringz-K...se/8160598#_=_ (22 tracks)

I went throught my backup collection (yes, unfortunately, this is a thing with me hahaha) and I came up with ANOTHER copy that has 20 tracks

so my question to all of you, is there a DEFINITE tracklist to this? am I just sitting on somebody's fan made comps?

they both have Epic of Bitter Triumph as the second track if that helps. one of them has The Oldest Chamber as track 3 with the lines 'Tha Killa B-Ching, on compact Disc' in there too

btw I checked, I had a good listen and those 2 burnt discs are not Deja Wu nor Have Sword, Will Travel, so it's not a matter of mislabeling

thanks in advance for any help

EDIT : found out the 20 track version is an advance copy. but am still confused as to the 17 vs 22 track versions

^^ On the 22 track version, what other tracks are included that are not on the other version? I don't think there was ever a definitive tracklist other than the promo pic I posted above. Ringz might be able to confirm though.

    ^^thanks for the feedback

this is the tracklist I found online for Killa B ching : https://www.discogs.com/Cilvaringz-K...se/8160598#_=_ it has 22 tracks as you can see. up to track 8 this 22 song version (which I do not have at home, but whose tracklist I found on discogs) and my 17 track version have the same tracklist, from then onward they become different

    so my copies have

    * 17 tracks

    * and 20 tracks (advance version that awkwardly has 3 soul tracks by other artists tacked on at the end, see below)

    Cilvaringz - Killa B-Ching (Advance) [2003]

    01. Wu-Tang Martial Expert (Instrumental)
    02. Valentine Day Massacre
    03. The Trivia-Interlude (Instrumental)
    04. Tongue Fu
    05. The Saga Begins... (Instrumental)
    06. Buck 60 (Instrumental)
    07. Ninja Starz
    08. The Epic of Bitter Triumph
    09. Man Woman and Child (Instrumental)
    10. The Oldest Chamber
    11. Energy
    12. War and Peace (Instrumental)
    13. Gold Bell Cover
    14. Family (Instrumental)
    15. Nagin (Demo Version)
    16. Man Woman and Child (Rza Remix)
    17. Loneliness
    18. Shirley Caeser- Satan
    19. Janet and the Jays - Without A Reason
    20. Ann Peebles - The Handwriting is on the Wall

those last 3 tracks could be sample sources for some of the songs Cilvaringz created. I'd have to listen to the whole thing to find out. which I will do now lol

Is there a vocal version of Family or just an instrumental?? That beat is craaaaazy!!!
YEAH. IT WAS ON MY ORIGINAL DEMO FOR WU-TANG ALONG WITH 2 FREESTYLES OVER GZA INSTRUMENTALS AND THE LEAD TRACK "RAZASHARP". RAZASHARP GOT ME ON.

Was Fuck Americcca recorded around the same time as this as well??? I love the instrumental for that Fuck Americcca beat. I wish there was a studio version with you spitting over it. There is the live version out there that leaked years ago. Dope as fuck!!
ONLY A LIVE VERSION WAS AVAILABLE. THE FIRST VERSION PRODUCED BY KEVLAAR7 (RIP) AND THE SECOND ONE PRODUCED BY ME.

Was there any other tracks recorded around the same time that were considered for the album??? Any joints still unreleased??? Was City Limits supposed to be on here? Any other tracks you care to share for us diehard fans??? Hint Hint. Lol.
CITY LIMITS WAS RECORDED FOR FUN. THERE'S A CILVARINGZ, SHOGUN & B9 TRACK PRODUCED BY KEVLAAR7 (RIP). THERE'S A TRACK CALLED "WOODZMEN" WHICH WAS PRODUCED BY MOONGOD AS WELL. AT THAT TIME, WHEN WE WANTED TO GET WITH WU-TANG WE HAD A DEMO WITH: RAZASHARP, SHIN PAD SHILL, WOODZMEN and FAMILY. THESE WERE THE FOUR TRACKS. I MIGHT HAVE THE WOODZMEN BEAT SOMEWHERE. AGAIN, WILL DIG AND POST.

I randomly googled and vocaroo.com came up. I gave it a try with a mobb deep upload and the site works. the DL afterwards did not give me the digital ebolas. also, bonus points for horrible colour use on that site hahaha
