    Default Slept on Apollo Kids

partly because of a lack of time, mainly cause the shit album cover. This album is crazy, great beat selection, consistent sound, and the features make the album. Busta and Gza so far have the best verses. Which isn't kind of a bad thing because I think Ghost can step it up on some songs. He's as good as he was on on 36 chambers (which he got better later and peaked on The W), so it's not like he's 'bad' but he can do better lyrically.

BDR is great. I bought and enjoyed that album a lot. I recently started appreciating Fishscale more, and it was the only Ghost album I didn't like. It seemed really sprawling and 'everywhere'. Also had a darkish tone that I wasn't with. After some time I've realized those are the best features of the album. The fact that it was supposed to be a double disc with More Fish make it an incredible project.

Idk why lables are so stupid. A double disc counts as two sales, and boosts the artists clout for the next album. They also lock the artist in for more content since it contractually counts as 1 album. Why the label would get in the way and make a double disc a single album is beyond me but it's very clear that the music industry is run by raccoons that don't understand basic business.

hahaha, this fool just said that he used to run trains, but if he went after Dirt he'd chill and get brains hahahahah

Ghost placed his features on the right songs and they all came through heavily. Just finished the album.

Don't like the album overall but "purified thoughts" is a classic.

I got nothing but love for the album. Great beat selection, fantastic opening track and dope posse cuts that close the album.

I'd say this is on par with BDR. The BDR artwork wins by a landslide though lol

I haven't heard it in a long time but it was a great album; Ghost is one of the most consistent artists in the hip hop history and maybe has the most consistently good catalogue of all time when you factor in longevity.

Depends what you want in an album/listening session...

If you want a cohesive story and cinematic experience "12RTD". Please note, "12RTD" should be taken in as a whole in one setting for best effect...
If you want a collection of bangers that you can listen to not in one setting "Apollo Kids"

Finally I prefer the music on 12RTD but thats just preference...

Please do share which one you choose and what you think after listening.
    PEACE

Get Apollo Kids. 12 reasons is dope but it's a story so less replay value
