recently i found out, that the australian army has only ever fought one war, and that was against EMU's. and they lost... is this real history?

lol - australia has been at war for 70 of the last 79 years - firstly at the behest of the old empire and subsequently in service of the new.

"at war" was a misnomer, i was just saying it for effect because of soul's hurtful joke about our military prowess - the ADF has just been deployed overseas for that period, mostly "peacekeeping" in the 80's.

post vietnam they were in guam, indonesia, png, namibia and fiji - between to the first gulf war and the second they were in somalia, mozambique, the balkans, png again and east timor + a bit of fucking around in south east asia and the middle east.
