Unlike baseball the ball acrisllt pitches and you need to actually react to where it’s going to go instead of safely knowing 90% of the time it’s coming waist high. Also pace variation is part of the strategy. The ball spins, moves sideways, swings in the air.
Try playing a ball that spins and bounces after it pitches then we can be impressed with full toss curve bala
