thats just game planning. i will say i still stand behind baseball being a more strategic in game sport compared to cricket. cricket seems like a battle of attrition with the primary focus on hitting the shit out of the ball for as long as you can. moving players around and what not aint shit. they do that in baseball too, its called a shift. im talking about shit talking, fucking with people during the game, the game within the game. so in baseball once you get on base how do you try to get more bases without waiting for someone to hit you around them, you steal, you read the pitcher, you play the basemen in your favor etc. etc. im talking personal strategy like that. oh your a big homerun hitter? nah fuck that i wanna get on a base ima drag bunt it right in front of third basemen and get to first.

that seems to be lacking from cricket.

i will say though i watched that Aus stream and that shit looks fun. a mix between baseball, golf and kickball. i think i understand it a lil bit better now after watching that. catching a ball like that with your barehands would be tough. id love to give this sport a go. but thats the other thing that seems lacking is defense. im big on being a good defender. like i already said cricket seems meant for the batter and bowler.

Lmao are you serious that shit talking doesn’t exist in cricket? The whole cricketing world hates Australia because we aggressive sledge the opposition teams. Dude, just stop talking shit you don’t know what you’re on about.

    hahahah.

hey i just call it how i see it. every one seemed to be all smiles and shit in the stream i watched. im just trying to gain more information and instead i get told to not talk about what im trying to figure out about...

    hahah.

im willing to bet that y'all cricketers can hit a bouncing ball with a huge ass paddle but y'all couldnt hit a 72 MPH (116 kph) curve ball with a baseball bat after seeing two called strike fastballs at 101 MPH (163 kph). ill also go a step further and say ya boy Steve Smith could not even foul off a pitch against Mariano Rivera

Again, you don’t know what you’re talking about. The fast bowlers in cricket consistently bowl 140-150km, a few even reach up to 160. Unlike baseball the ball acrisllt pitches and you need to actually react to where it’s going to go instead of safely knowing 90% of the time it’s coming waist high. Also pace variation is part of the strategy. The ball spins, moves sideways, swings in the air.

Try playing a ball that spins and bounces after it pitches then we can be impressed with full toss curve bala

Also cricketers bowl “curve balls” at “fast ball” speeds

Look, just give it a rest. You’re consistently incorrect and embarrassing

    okay Hound.

90% of the time a baseball is pitched waist high...

okay, we'll leave it at that.

Its more like 99% barring a few fuck ups. It’s not even pitched it’s a full toss that’s easy let me see them play the ball after it’s bounced for me to be impressed by baseball and don’t even start me on the need for huge gloves to be able to catch the ball

Get yourself access to South Africa v Australia next month it’ll be the toughest, most even battle of team sport in the world this year that isn’t soccer.
