On a similar but tangential note, remember during "The W" campaign they released "Careful" in dif countries featuring a local rapper. For Canada it was Kardinal Offishall bup bup...

Back on track yeah it's sad re "Soul Controller" being left off and done know "Daytonna 500" bangs. Loved the cartoon vid especially how they rewind scenes to match scratching in the track. Remember reading an article where Bob James at first was hesitant to allow rappers to sample "Nautilus" but was impressed when he heard how RZA flipped it!

It's almost impossible to pick one as the favorite which is a testament to how great this album really is. How a lot of people sleep on this and say SC is better is beyond me.

I will go with After the Smoke is Clear. It may win out at the moment bc it bangs and the vibe works for just about any time.

260 would be close. It's nice to see it getting love here always though it was one of the best and really underrated.

Ironman > SC. Both are classics but the beats on ironman are just better. And the project is more cohesive as a whole.

Side note: Based on its name, theme and being a RZA solo "Sunlight" is kind of a truncated and (no disrespect) diluted version of "Sunshower". Anyone ever consider that?

wait what? no love for "Daytona 500".. from the singing intro to that monster flip of 'Nautilus', that's one of the heaviest Wu tracks of all time.

am i imagining that there is a version without the intro singing? maybe the single? was trying to find it just now, but no trace anywhere, so maybe i just invented that. this asthmatic live version is pretty gully.

(imo) "Supreme Clientele" gets rated the way it does because it was a sophmore grandslam after some critical and/or commercial misses or hits from the generals. To quote Freddie Fox, "I'm bout to save hip-hop like Ghost did the Wu" from "R.N.S." Its generally accepted that that album resuuuuuuuuurected the Wu flag.

yeah "Ironman" > "Supreme Clientele" and both are so DOPE!
